Infant School Open Mornings

Please see information below regarding school tours for Reception 2027, as well as in-year admissions for Polehampton CE Infant School places.

Infant School: Reception 2027 intake 

Open Mornings at the Infant School will take place on the following dates:

If you haven’t been able to attend our Open Mornings but would still like to visit the school, please contact the school office to arrange a tour.

Our open morning sessions start at 09:15am with a 30-minute presentation by one of our two Co-Heads, followed by an opportunity for questions. After this presentation, attendees will be taken on a school tour, led by our staff and accompanied by some of our Year 2 pupils. The tour will finish by 11:00am at the latest.

Registering for a Polehampton Infants Open Morning

Please note that you must register for an Open Morning with us to be allowed on site; when you register, we will add your name to the guest list for that day. Bookings for the Open Mornings will be available shortly. 

The Open Mornings are for parents and guardians only. Children do not need to attend at this point. 



Reception - Stay and Play Taster Session 

Please join us for a special 'Reception Taster Session' with our Reception Team and Senior Staff. 

This is a relaxed and informal opportunity for you and your child to:

  • Meet our Reception Class teachers 

  • Get more of a 'feel' for our learning environment

  • Ask questions and connect with senior leaders

Bookings for the Stay and Play Sessions will be available shortly.

 

In-year Admissions

We currently have limited spaces in our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. Please contact us on office.infants@polehampton.wokingham.sch.uk or telephone 0118 9340246 to book a school tour and discuss an in-year admission.
